Call for Speakers for itSMF Danmark conference:

Service Management – Build your own house

 
 
October 23rd and 24th, 2019 at Comwell Roskilde in Roskilde, Denmark

Theme description

The IT Service Management profession is evolving into the concept of Service Management practices, where skills, process and more are redefined to ensure that modern organizations gain value of its investments. The challenge in this new environment is a much more agile way of designing and updating services, taken to market and/or consumed in a much faster way than before. In this context we are facing a culture change, where IT needs to let go of the old ways of working and adapt to a new way of working. At the same time, we see an increased specialisation within narrow fields of practices. The itSMF Denmark 2019 conference will focus on how to get back to basics with Service Management. A lot of frameworks are available but building your own value stream is a challenge. In the conference we will help choosing from each framework to build your own house. It needs both a solid foundation, strong walls and later a roof.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for presentations that for Service Management practices can:
- Explain the overall picture of the practices
- Describe how these practices can be used to build the house with foundation, walls, furniture, etc.
- Refer to real life experiences/case studies of building the Service Management house with both good and bad examples

We would like you to relate your presentation to the house above. Which stage (colour) are your presentation referring to?
- Visions for Service Management
- Service Management Frameworks
- Service Management Practices
- Service Management Foundation

We expect that used practices are related to ITIL4, DevOps, Agile, COBIT 2019, ISO/IEC 20000, VeriSM, IT4IT and/or any other best practice, standard or framework that is relevant for Service Management. You may also introduce new management practices that could or should be applied in the Service Management profession.
